Reduce Advertising Costs by Buying Remnant Space
Advertising in the general press remains a key tool
in the marketing policy of most businesses. The cost for this
form of promotion can be reduced if articles are submitted to
the relevant editor, just before the copy deadline, when not all
of the space has already been filled by other articles. It is
obviously critical that editors fill all of this remnant space,
so this is the critical time when cost can be a genuine negotiating
tool.
This can be a high risk form of advertising as, like standby air
flights, there is no guarantee that your copy will eventually
be accepted.
