Chris Yarrow

Chris started his accountancy career in 1997 with local practice, at the age of 19. He qualified as an Accounting Technician in 2001 and became a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2004, achieving fellowship in 2009, reflecting 5 years continuous professional development.

Chris’s career has seen much change over the years, the practice where his career began was taken over by a top 40 firm, which is where he qualified and stayed for a further year before joining the Cambridge office of a top 10 firm, specialising in audit and corporate work.

Before joining Whiting’s in 2008, Chris had spent two years working in various roles out of the profession as financial controller, in the Telecommunications industry and company accountant in the Haulage industry, where he gained experience of initiating new accounting systems and implementing management accounting processes with large accounting teams.

Out of work, Chris is a member of an athletics club, where he competitively throws discus and javelin at regional events.
