Audit
As Registered Auditors, we are able to provide the statutory
audit services required under corporate, charities, pensions and friendly
society legislation. In addition, we offer this service to organisations
which require a non-statutory audit under their own constitution.
All our audits are conducted in accordance with legislation
and best practise, utilising our firm's own internal quality control procedures.
As well as providing the business assurance required of this procedure, we
conduct audits with the secondary aim of seeking to identify problems,
efficiency improvements and opportunities to add value to your organisation.
We also have experience in the following specialist auditor assignments:
- Providing SMART award certification,
- Reporting on expenditure related to other government grants,
including National Lottery funding,
- Internat audit,
- Due diligence audit work.
Although successive legislation continues to relax
the legal requirement for audit, numerous organisations, either,
still require this statutory review, or voluntarily request an
audit, in order the benefit from the financial assurances it provides.
Having an audit gives the stakeholders of an organisation the
peace of mind that they require that the finances are controlled
and reported as they should be. It also allows us to understand
the business in sufficient detail for us to offer pro-active
business, financial and tax advice.
